The 2023 International Space Academy

The International Space Academy is finishing up its 2023 program with each of the 10 high school student teams completing their Final Launch on November 17 (see the excitement in the attached photos) and closing out with their results at the Press Conference / Graduation event on December 2 at JPL's Von Karman auditorium. We are especially excited to have a Key Speaker at Graduation:  Loretta Whitesides, an accomplished author, founder of Yuri’s Night, and an astronaut slated for Space Ship Two!  

The Space Academy program not only exposed students to design, build and test for a Space Mission, but also to project management, teamwork, connecting with international counterparts and business aspects as well. The students worked hard and often had to overcome unexpected challenges over the last 10 weeks to successfully execute their Launch and conduct their Mission.  With our strong team of consultants (returning students from last year), the Space Academy leaders congratulate our wonderful 2023 students on their accomplishments.
